1. 30-Day Return Window for Exchange or Store Credit
You may initiate a return request within 30 calendar days of receiving your order. Important: We do not offer monetary refunds. The purpose of a return is strictly for one of the following options:
- Exchange for a different item of equal or greater value.
- Issuance of Store Credit for the purchase price, which can be used for future purchases on our site.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition you received it (e.g., tags attached, no signs of wear or damage from use). All original accessories and documentation must be included.
2. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact Us: Email crescent@plachtaerik.com within the 30-day window. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Receive Instructions: We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address (16 RUE des Orchidées, 18340 Saint-Just, FRANCE). Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted.
- Ship the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging, include the RMA number visibly on the package, and ship it to the provided address. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item shipped). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
3. Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or on clearance.
- Products that have been used, worn, damaged, altered, or are not in resalable condition.
- Products missing original tags, packaging, or accessories.
- Personalized or custom-made items.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect (different from what you ordered), please contact us immediately at crescent@plachtaerik.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for a free replacement or exchange at our discretion upon verification (which may require photographic evidence). No monetary refund will be issued for defective items; the remedy is replacement or store credit.
5. Processing of Approved Returns
Once we receive and inspect your return at our office, we will notify you of its status.
- If approved, we will process your chosen exchange (subject to stock availability) or issue Store Credit to your customer account. Store credit has no expiry date.
- No monetary refunds to your original payment method will be processed.
- Please allow 5-10 business days for the processing after we receive your return.
6. Refund Policy Clarification: No “Refund Only”
To reiterate our core policy: We do not offer “refund only” or money-back options.
Our solutions for a valid return are exclusively an exchange for another product or store credit. 7. Shipping and Associated Costs
- Return Shipping: The customer bears the cost and risk of return shipping, as stated above.
- Exchange/Replacement Shipping: For exchanges or replacements initiated due to our error (defective/wrong item), we will cover the shipping costs to send the new item to you. For standard exchanges requested by the customer, standard shipping fees for the new item will apply.
